About Claudia Behnam

Hello! My name is Claudia Behnam and I am a licensed speech and language pathologist. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and have been working in the field of speech therapy since 2015. I have worked with school aged and preschool aged children since 2003 and have experience with adults as well. I specialize in in-home/school pediatric therapy as well as social groups in various locations. I love to watch your little ones progress, thrive, succeed, and reach their max potential! Education and Background
A little background on me personally. I am married and am mother to a saucy preschool girl and a mischievous toddler boy. They keep me busy! I know how difficult juggling life events can be, which is why I am very flexible with the families I work with. I began my career as a teacher’s assistant at a preschool, eventually becoming a substitute teacher and then a kindergarten teacher with Broward County Schools. I earned a Master’s Degree of Arts in elementary education as well. I love working with children, however I felt that I could help even more children and families by specializing in speech therapy. I went back to school for my second Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology and here I am, ready to assist your family with any speech and language needs!
